Joan will show you how to make fabulous gifts for the little ones in your life using low-cost pre-made items. A simple t-shirt becomes a dress with fabrics from your stash or it can be decorated with whimsical rickrack flowers. Capri pants bought on sale or purchased from a consignment shop can be embellished with ruffles or
trims. Denim jeans can be decorated in many ways and a worn out pair may be turned into a skirt with the addition of a small amount of fabric. All of these projects can be made into matching doll clothes and accessories for your favorite little doll lover.

See how Valley 4-H members are using state-of-the-art microfiber fabrics to sew outdoor wear, as well as learning to recycle old garments to make new ones. The boys and girls of Valley 4-H Club are preparing a fashion show to tell others how they have expanded their pre-teen and teenage wardrobes by sewing fashionable garments to fit in with favorite garments in their wardrobes. They've also learned consumerism while shopping for bargain priced garments and accessories. Winners of the Make It With Wool Contest will be featured.
